We fell in love with an ancient craft and built an Ubud atelier to teach it properly.
Our reason
We are incense enablers.
Sacred Smoke is not here to sell you a mystery stick and ask you to trust the perfume. We teach the craft behind incense: the woods, resins, binders, powders, ratios, hand pressure, drying, and smoke testing that turn raw botanicals into something you can actually understand.
The workshop is the center of everything we do because this is a skill-transfer course. You do not just leave with incense. You leave knowing why it burns, why it smells different in smoke, and how to begin making your own batch at home.
What makes us different
Real materials. Real technique. Real smoke tests.
Most incense classes stop at mixing things that smell nice in a bowl. That is not enough. A powder can smell beautiful raw and terrible when burned. We teach the burn test because incense is judged in smoke, not in a jar.
- We work with raw botanical powders, woods, resins, and natural binders.
- We make and prepare many of our own ingredients.
- We teach formula logic instead of handing guests a decorative recipe.
- We send guests home with a DIY kit so the practice continues.
